The tour
- 23 selected, passionate student entrepreneurs from top German, Swiss and Austrian universities are flying to the Silicon Valley from 4th – 14th of November.
- Within 10 days, we will visit various developed startups, established high-tech companies, meet with serial entrepreneurs, professors, CEOs, founders and will present our experiences afterwards in Germany.
- PionierGarage (www.pioniergarage.de), THE student entrepreneurship club at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (www.kit.edu), is organising the tour togethehar with students from the European Business School (EBS). KIT is one of the leading universities and research institutions for, among all, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry in Europe and is one of the nine German Universities of Excellence.
- We are the first university group in Germany extending their network into the Silicon Valley supported by KIT and different other partners in Karlsruhe and Germany.
The Vision
- Connect to experienced entrepreneurs, startups, students, big companies, incubators and investors in the Silicon Valley.
- Allow young entrepreneurs to get an insight into the Silicon Valley ecosystem, experience its spirit and take it back to Europe to push European entrepreneurship forward.
- Get inspired by serial entrepreneurs and inspiring founders to start your own startup!
- Extend our international network.
Tour schedule
We worked hard over the last few month to build up a great schedule consisting ofstartups, big companies, serial entrepreneurs, investors and university lectures. The talks will allow us to experience the Silicon Valley from different angles and take the most out of the tour.
